Heritage Projects
The
OCA Practice are accredited Conservation Architects and have
considerable experience in dealing with all aspects of Historical Buildings,
be they National Monuments or recently declared “Protected Structures”.
Indeed, buildings designed ab initio by OCA are now “Protected Structures”
in themselves, which gives an indication of the quality of the work carried
out by this Practice. The Senior Partners have been involved in such projects
and are aware of the need for clear decision making procedures and a sound
knowledge of refurbishing methods.
The partners of OCA take part annually in the Continuing Professional Development - CPD Courses - run by the RIAI, including those specifically dedicated to the preservation of Irish Heritage.
